Expected Date of Delivery

April 30th. A Friday. The last official day of the spring semester and the day we get the keys to our apartment. I am totally psyched. And nervous. And happy. With all of these emotions running through me, you'd think I was awaiting the birth of my first child. In a way though, I do feel like this apartment is similar to the birth of a child. It has required plenty of planning, preparing, and anticipating. I can tell you though, I have been anticipating this for a long time...much longer than nine months!

A Home of Our Own

The countdown is on for when we (as in my honey and I) will be moving into our own apartment. I cannot even express how psyched I am. We are both in college, so you can automatically assume funds are a wee' bit tight for us, but with the aid of multiple jobs between the two of us and some creative little tricks, a cozy (and chic!) little apartment in our future looks bright. (If only our future held the prospects of this luxurious apartment...)

What Dreams Are Made Of

Most little girls dream of their wedding day. I on the other hand, used to (and still do!) dream about how I will decorate my own home. Who has time to think about future fairy wedding plans when there is so much to think about concerning home decorating and design?! Turning a drab space into a fabulous one is one of my top priorities. After spending countless hours hunched over my laptop, drinking up the contents of inspiring design blogs, I have finally crossed the threshold into Blog World. This is a blog devoted to the thing that inspires me most: design. And being that I am embarking on the new and exciting journey of renting my first apartment, I will be sharing home (or apartment, rather) design ideas and tidbits I discover along the way. This is as much of a learning experience for you as it is for me. So with that I say, bring on the inspiration!
